RCL: Subjects
ECONOMICS The Economics section includes materials related to the study of economics and is classified in a system based on the American Economic Association’s classification scheme. Materials and classification take into account the growth of interdisciplinary inquiry in economics since the publication of BCL3 in 1988, e.g., socioeconomics and the psychology of economics. The works of major theorists and practitioners are present in representative rather than comprehensive titles. This section represents a collection sufficient for basic study of the discipline of economics at the undergraduate level, as well as providing support for other allied disciplines, e.g. business administration. Excluded from this section are the sorts of comparative and industry studies which predominated in BCL3. Return to Subject List
